Sr. Completion Engineer (Expatriate)

Requirements:

·         Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other Engineering Sciences.

·         A minimum of 8 years in Oil & Gas Industry with minimum 5 years in the well completion engineering and/or operations.

Responsibilities:

·         Support the Drilling Engineering Manager and coordinate the processes of (1) establishing standards for drilling engineering, operations, and risk management, (2) conducting drilling engineering studies for well cost estimation, (3) creating optimized designs and specifications, plans and work programs for drilling and completion activities as required by for the Asset and other Asset developments, (4) selecting provider contractors - through providing advanced well completion engineering expertise

·         Provide advanced completion engineering expertise  and supervise team members in assisting the Drilling management team in the setting up completion design and procedures in BoD and risk management  standards and procedures.

·         Provide advanced completion engineering expertise and supervise team members in the creation of tender process specifications, the selection of drilling service providers and materials suppliers - related to tubular goods, well testing, subsea well heads etc.

·         Provide advanced completion engineering expertise and supervise team members in selecting optimum materials for tubular goods referring to formation pressure/temperature, gas composition, composition/PH of condensed/formation waters.

·         Provide advanced completion engineering expertise and supervise team members in conducting comprehensive and fit for purpose completion/wellhead designs for development wells - considering monobore well architecture, future intervention, down hole monitoring, long well life cycle, etc.

·         Provide advanced completion engineering expertise and supervise team members in establishing testing string design and testing procedures for delineation and exploration wells.

·         Provide advanced completion engineering expertise and supervise team members in developing well integrity management system with Sr. Drilling Engineer, and initiating required studies to improve well integrity and safety - effectively using engineering software and database.

·         Join Well Delivery Process and provide advanced completion engineering expertise to optimize completion/testing programs and identify the potential risks and opportunities for the performance improvement, cost reduction and delivery of quality wells. 

·         Provide advanced completion engineering expertise and supervise team members in closely monitoring daily completion/testing operations and initiating the processes of MOC and OTB when needs are identified for these.

·         Ensure accuracy of completion data and provide engineering and operational assurance on individual completion programs, therefore ensuring on-going knowledge transfer to the subordinates of drilling engineer.

·         Provide advanced completion engineering expertise and supervise team members in interfacing with various teams - including the Drilling Support Teams - to stay abreast of daily activities and provide insight, advices and suggestions to complete drilling activities effectively and safely.
